The first time I got to go backstage at a concert and that I saw Antigone Rising, an indie NYC based band, was when they played at the Vanderbilt Theatre, Plainview NY (Long Island). They opened for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and rocked the house! I met them a 2nd time at NYC's Dark Star Lounge with their new lead singer Cassidy on the day before my birthday.
